We are proud to announce that we will be presenting a session titled: 'Let Your Voice Be Heard: A Guide To Get Started in Advocacy', as part of the Massachusetts Civic Learning Week.

The Junior League of Boston Advocacy initiative develops our members as citizen-advocates for the Greater Boston Community. At this event, our Advocacy Committee will discuss:

  • How you as a citizen or organization can advocate for change
  • Why it is important for citizens to engage civically to drive community change
  • Immediate next steps we can all take

Each year the Massachusetts Civic Learning Coalition hosts the Massachusetts Civic Learning Week in April. Massachusetts Civic Learning Week aims to build broader awareness of and support for civic learning; amplify and celebrate youth voice, and empower participants to envision themselves as changemakers in our democracy. The week’s programs, events, and activities are hosted and organized by the Massachusetts Civic Learning Coalition (MCLC) in partnership with teachers and students from across the Commonwealth.

This event is happening on Zoom, and the details can be found below.
