In honor of Marathon Month, join the Junior League of Boston Social Committee for our Marathon Month Virtual 5k!

Participants of all ages are encouraged to join. Participants will run or walk their own virtual 5k (3.1 mile) race on April 17, 2021. Races can be run when you want, where you want - at a time and location that is convenient for you and your family.

Steps that must be completed to participate in the Virtual 5K:

  1. Register for this event on the Junior League of Boston website
  2. Complete and submit a fitness waiver to operations@jlboston.org by 11:59 pm on Tuesday, April 13. If the fitness waiver is not submitted by 11:59 pm on Tuesday, April 13 your registration for this event will be canceled.
  3. Print off your running bib! Running bibs will be emailed to participants prior to the event and will be able to be downloaded and printed for personalization and decoration - get creative! Make sure to tag your creative bibs at @juniorleagueofboston and use the hashtag #JLBMarathonMonth to be entered to win a fun prize! A prize will be awarded for the most creative bib.
  4. Complete the 5k on April 17th! Participants are encouraged to take photos of themselves & family during and after completion of the 5k and post to Instagram, tagging @juniorleagueofboston and using the hashtag: #JLBMarathonMonth
  5. Once you complete the 5k submit this form. A form must be submitted for each participant (1 form per participant). Prizes will be awarded for best time (first, second, and third place), and for "Most Creative Bib".

All Junior League of Boston Members who complete all listed steps for the event will be awarded 1 Membership Social Event Credit.
